How is this different from Grammarly?+
Grammarly optimises for making the correction disappear as fast as possible. One click and it is gone. That is great for output and useless for learning — you can use it for years and make the exact same mistakes. Grammar Coach deliberately adds friction: you read why before you accept, and it tracks which mistakes you repeat.
Does it work offline?+
No. Corrections come from a language model running on our server, so it needs a connection.
Is my writing stored?+
By default, no. We store the category of each mistake (for example "subject-verb agreement") and whether you accepted it — not the text itself. Keeping the actual flagged text is an explicit opt-in you control, and turning it back off erases what was kept. See the privacy policy for details.
What happens when I hit the daily limit?+
Checking pauses until the next day. The cap exists so a runaway loop cannot rack up cost on our end — it is not a paywall. Need more than 100 a day? contact us at [email protected].
Which browsers are supported?+
Chrome today. Other Chromium browsers are likely to work but are not tested. Firefox and Safari are not supported yet.
Is there a paid plan?+
